    You receive a written quote with scope, timeline and deliverables. Once approved, we lock the start date.

    Shoots, design, content, websites — whatever your plan includes — produced on schedule with regular check-ins.

What does Rumfunk do, in one sentence?

Rumfunk is a Rotterdam-based creative studio that helps bars, restaurants, hotels and lifestyle brands show up clearly and consistently — through branding, photography, video, content, social media, ad campaigns and websites.
Where are you based and where do you work?

Rumfunk is based in the Rotterdam area, in the Netherlands. We work with clients across the entire country — Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht and everywhere in between. We travel for shoots and on-site projects, and we also work remotely with hospitality brands based outside the Netherlands.
What kinds of clients do you usually work with?

Our specialty is hospitality and F&B — bars, cocktail bars, restaurants, hotels, drink brands, festivals, F&B labels and lifestyle brands whose work feels at home in that world. If you serve guests, run an experience-driven space, or build a product people drink, eat or stay with, we are probably a good fit.
How much does it cost to work with Rumfunk?

Ongoing branding and social media retainers for bars and restaurants start at €1,000 per month with a 2-month minimum. One-off projects — full rebrands, websites, single shoots, ad campaigns and daily social media management at scale — are quoted per project. We give you a clear quote after a free intro call.
What is included in the €1,000/month retainer?

Ongoing branding and social media support for one venue: content production (mix of photo, reel and graphic content), captions, scheduling, on-brand templates, monthly reporting, and direct access to Ziggy for creative direction. Exact scope is tailored after the intro call so the deliverables match what your venue actually needs.
Is there a minimum commitment?

For monthly retainers: yes — a 2-month minimum so we have enough time to learn your brand and produce meaningful results. After that, retainers continue month-to-month and you can pause or stop with 30 days notice.
Can I hire you for a single project instead of a retainer?

Yes. One-off projects are common: a single photo shoot, a rebrand, a website build, a video campaign or a launch package. We quote each per project after understanding the scope.
How quickly can you start?

After a free intro call and quote approval, we typically kick off within 1–2 weeks. Single shoots can often be booked in the same week depending on calendar availability.
Do you have a studio, or do you shoot on-location?
+
We mostly shoot on-location in your venue, because hospitality content lives in its actual space. For product or campaign work that needs controlled lighting, we partner with studios across Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Do you also write the captions / copy?
+
Yes. Retainers include caption writing and copy aligned with your brand voice. For websites and campaigns we write the headlines and body copy too.
How do you deliver photos to clients?
+
Every shoot is delivered through a private client gallery (this same site you are on). You get a link, a password if requested, and the ability to download full-resolution originals individually or all together as a zip.
Who owns the rights to the photos?

You get a perpetual license to use everything we shoot for you across your owned channels, ads and print. Rumfunk retains the right to use the work in our portfolio and showreel. If you need an exclusive buyout (no portfolio use), that is also possible — let us know.
Do you help with TripAdvisor, Google Maps, and reviews?

Yes. Part of our ad campaigns and social work is making sure your venue is properly set up on Google Business Profile (Google Maps) and TripAdvisor — with great photos, accurate info, and a review strategy that drives the right guests in. Most hospitality venues lose customers here without realising it.
Can you build my website?

Yes. We design and build modern, fast websites for hospitality brands. Custom builds for ambitious sites, or clean CMS-based sites your team can update without us. Everything we ship is mobile-first and optimised for guests landing from Instagram or Google.
Do you do reservations / booking integrations?

Yes. We integrate the booking systems your venue already uses — Resengo, Formitable, OpenTable, Bookboost and similar — directly into your site, with custom styling so it looks like part of your brand instead of an iframe.
What languages do you work in?

Dutch and English. We can produce content in either, or both side-by-side if your venue serves an international crowd.
Is the work AI-generated?
+
No. Photography, video, design and copy are produced by Ziggy and our human collaborators. We use AI tools sparingly and only where they help — like background cleanup or first-draft caption ideas — never to replace authorship.
What if I do not have a brand yet?

That is often the perfect starting point. We can start with a brand sprint — name, logo, identity, voice — and then continue into content, marketing and the venue itself once the foundation is solid.
